Tradition and Culture
The Maltese Islands are more than an archipelago in the sun. There are Prehistoric temples, medieval fortresses, baroque churches, elegant palazzi, stylish piazzas and squares. The Islands not only own a unique language but also own a wealth of traditions and cultures. Of course, not everything here will remind you of days gone by. You can always unwind with such modern pastimes as paragliding and wind surfing. This is, after all, the heart of the warm Mediterranean sea. As for sightseeing, it would be pretty hard to miss our Grand Harbour, or Paceville, full of colourful restaurants and vibrant nightclubs.
But if you simply want to relax on the sands of our coast, feel free, Malta boasts a mild climate year round. And, as anyone who has been here can attest, there are a large number of friendly public and private beaches.
When you're ready to put a little distance between yourself and the distractions of everyday life, come spend some time with us at the Soreda Hotel, Qawra Bay, North Malta. Although you just might find it hard to separate yourself from here when it's time leave.
